First lieutenant Bryce W. Carter attempts a choke on Daichi Yamamoto at the Ginowan City Police Station, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, Sept. 7. Carter hopes to bring weekly martial arts training to the Marines at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma’s Provost Marshal’s Office. Yamamoto is a Ginowan City police officer and Carter is the officer in charge of MCAS Futenma’s PMO.
