Greek man arrested over alleged plot to hijack Emirates airliner at Karachi airport

A Greek passenger was arrested at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi who was trying to smuggle a 9 mm pistol handgun hidden in his laptop onto the aircraft.
The Greeak man with his mother was going to his homeland in Athens, Greece via Dubai, United Arab Emirates by flight EK 605, when aiport security officials found a concealed in his laptop's battery place as luggage passed through the security scanners.
Security officials registered the case against the accused at local police station however many believed it could be a bid to hijack the plane.
