Should this category be deleted soon, as, for obvious reasons, there will not be many more stories about Benazir Bhutto --User:Anonymous101 16:30, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So? How does that affect the stories that were already published about her and that are collected in this category? --+Deprifry+ 16:50, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Deprifry. There are already enough articles for a category; her death does not affect that. Category:9/11 contains news from this year, and will likely collect more next year; so even if we did go by your logic, it could still pick up aftermath stories for years, or even decades, to come. Astoundingly, I discover that category doesn't exist. I'll try to find time to sort one out later. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 16:55, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with what seems to be the emerging consensus that this category should be kept on the basis that there are already a reasonable number of articles and that her death does not mean there will be no more articles. Adambro 17:33, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I accept that the category is still needed --User:Anonymous101 16:40, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • It is utterly ridiculous to suggest a category should be deleted because a person is now deceased. News on them will still be relevant to the situation in Pakistan many years down the road and "erasing" history as proposed is exactly what the people who killed her would like to see people do. --Brian McNeil / talk 17:47, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
