Christmas Island detention facility appears to be operational

For several weeks beginning in March 2007, several flights from Honolulu Hawaii to Christmas island have taken place (usually on the weekends). These flights are conducted using aircraft associated to the U.S. extreme rendition program. This information is based on open-source data obtained from flight following and tracking agencies.
