Palin used her position to ensure the removal of that guy, whereas everybody else would have to follow proper complaint and review procedures. That kind of action solely motivated by personal interests is disturbing at best, and pretty damn elite sounding--"Now, now, nothing I do is wrong because I can use my power to make it happen". That doesn't even work when done in Alaska, much less the rest of the country. 68.222.134.129 04:27, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Maaaverick

[edit]

Well gosh darnit, looks like she is a maverick! Gee, looks like we've underestimated her all this time. Darn tootin'. --Poisonous (talk) 04:59, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Serves her right for slandering Obama as a terrorist —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.100.25.133 (talk) 06:23, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't think she would be affected!

[edit]

I think a common American guy overlook her actions. According documentary film "Why we fight?" 2005, he/she just votes as his/her emotions say so!

Unabashed, Unashamed

[edit]

The members of the new conservative movement have, for too long now, been totally unabashed and unashamed at the actions of their abducted party. Not only is this case an issue that was handled in a manner likened to the Jerry Springer show - or, pick any of today's midweek, midday television garbage - anyone who is found to have abused their power while in a public office should be banned from public office, especially any at the highest levels of our government.

However, without question, the political policy of these same unashamed and deliberately deceptive pseudo conservatives is to deny, accuse, and brandish a flag of absolute certainty in their innocence despite clear evidence to the contrary. Like the dead horse called Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD's), and a slew of numerous denials about the importance of issues like our nation's economy, the national debt, and any number of other near total ignorances about the really important issues of our time, this presidential ticket will continue on with their campaign as though nothing has happened. They will not take responsibility for the improper actions of their freakishly inexperienced VP choice. Instead, they will stand proud in the face of the real truth at hand: she is a disgrace to this country's reputation.

The Republican Party of today is a symbol of the mockery our nation's government has made of its own people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.24.133.55 (talk) 14:40, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I hope so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.185.196.161 (talk) 18:39, 11 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

It doesn't matter if it hurts her, McCain doesn't have a chance in today's economy. I'm just glad that Palin, a stupid persons stupid person, will never hold an important political office again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.69.236.193 (talk) 01:38, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wait just a second

[edit]

The commission says it was illegal for her husband to pressure the PSC to fire the trooper in question, but she was within her rights to fire the PSC for not doing it?

Something fishy about the reasoning here. --Kitch (talk) 03:52, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is weird

[edit]

I at first, thought she sounded smarter than any of those guys, that she should have ran for office. But now she is a weirdo...... just your plain old corrupt politician. EVIL!!!! EVIL!!! -Ionman —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ionman (talkcontribs) 05:19, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Troopergate

[edit]

The headline should read PALIN WITHIN HER RIGHTS ON ONE COUNT AND ETHICALLY WRONG ON ANOTHER. Contributors love to jump on the negative about her. The point is to report the facts fairly. When a politician does their job properly, we need to give them credit? No, the issue is newsworthy because she behaved unethically. Do all Americans have such low standards or just Republicans? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.168.199.103 (talk) 21:17, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

TALK PALIN TALK

[edit]

Bold textHey Palin can do no wrong WHEN IT COMES TO TALKING TRASH ABOUT OBAMA but in dealing with her own mess she stares us in the face and lies telling us there is nothing to it.Palin just cant be quiet on subjects dealing with others outside her little world.Someone should tell her she is on the card for V.P. and not President of the United States.Shes not just out talking Sen. Mccain, but out talking everybody.Obama isnt being tested as they like to keep saying, but we americans are being tested by Palin's cantankerous and irksome voice. Its annoying and we need a break from the tone.THINK DO WE REALLY WANT THAT VOICE IN THE WHITE HOUSE FOR 4 YEARS ? 206.170.104.48 21:52, 21 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
