Casualties?
The Aviation Herald is reporting from emergency service sources, all occupants are accounted for and alive. Most other outlets reporting one death, from Korean diplomatic sources. Oktal (talk) 22:06, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

US Air Safety Record
Airlines operating in the US have a lot to be proud of. Although the article incorrectly states this is the first major crash at a US airport since 11/2001 (American Airlines 587, crashed in Belle Harbor, NY, after takeoff from JFK), the only intervening major crash was Colgan Air flight 3407, which crashed on approach to Buffalo in 2009, killing 49. Over a 12-year period, that's not bad. Of course it's absolutely tragic for the families who lost loved ones, but the flying public can be grateful for all the hard work done by the NTSB, FAA, ATA, NASA, and many other groups and agencies that have contributed to this excellent record. - Hi! We'd need a verifiable source to add information to the article about other accidents and so forth. You can see the sources section at the bottom. It also might be a good idea to add it to the related Wikipedia article instead.

Distress calls
On our local radio station we just heard recording of the pilots informing the tower about an emergency. Unfortunately no addiontional source available. As the current article states that no distress calls were made, we should keep an eye on this topic. ElHeineken (talk) 10:31, 7 July 2013 (UTC)
