"The criticism was a "largely Australian-specific phenomenon and in our view does not accurately reflect [its] safety profile", she [a spokeswoman for Sanofi-Aventis] said."

Yeah sure "A largely Australian-specific phenomenon" was that the best excuse she could come up with. I guess Australians have such a completely different genetic structure than the British or the Americans . The side effect profile of this drug (known as Ambien in the United States) is world famous. I applaud the Australian drug regulators for making an independent decision and not buying into Big-Pharma propaganda.--Jóhann Heiðar Árnason - (talk) 23:13, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comments from feedback form - "What are we going to do about ..."[edit]

What are we going to do about it?????? I know many people who are addicted to this drug and guess what leading psychiatrists in the Netherlands (AMC) and (MENTRUM) prescribe this drug. In Portugal one can buy it over the counter without doctor´s prescription? —85.243.164.174 (talk) 21:04, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
