could this be the result of all those wacky right-wingers saying, "Buy AMURRICAN"?

Lol, I really love the blind hate.--KDP3 (talk) 22:06, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It could be the result of all those wacky right-wingers saying, "I'm going to support companies not engaged in so much corporatism." Or maybe Ford is actually a better company than Government Motors or that other German company. 128.210.124.120 (talk) 14:06, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps this profit could be attributed to the thousands of new ads they have on television now?  Penubag  11:13, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could it be the non-American market? I dunno; in Europe Ford used to be viewed as making good value cars while in the States they made trucks etc (I don't think the European perception of the US market for Ford was very accurate, however). Nowadays, AFAIK they seem to have a fairly typical range of products for any manufacturer and they have them everywhere. GM, of course, do cars that drink fuel and costs lots of $$$$ so their losses are unsurprising, but big profits from any manufactutrer... Wow.
