Apparently parents were completely unable to figure this out before now. You know, that their kids are overweight. Perhaps they don't have the gift I do, because when I look at a fat kid, I can immediately determine that he's overweight, and I don't need schools telling me that...
- Sometimes overweight people don't look overweight... or they may just be considered "tubby", but they are in fact overweight. This is to help parents know for sure (and of course some parents are so blind to the issue that they need telling). Majorly talk 01:11, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
However, government ministers have ruled that "offensive" language, such as "obese" or "fat" will not be allowed to be used in the letters, with words such as "overweight" being used instead.
WTF? As a guy who used to be fat - yes, fat! - but not anymore, thanks to exercise and diet, I can only say that this is bollocks. "Fat" is offensive only insofar as displaying it is offensive; if you're fat and someone calls you that, then how about you do what's needed to stop being fat? 81.5.64.43 12:16, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
