I'll never support Jesse White for office again. He had no business deciding he was the judge and jury and found Blago guilty and decided he wasn't the legal governor. Dick Durbin also should have kept his mouth shut. A legal appointment by the seated governor did not need his half-baked opinion that Quinn would make this appointment after Blago was removed from office. Burris was already the appointed Senator and there was no vacancy for Quinn to fill. Reid was out of line saying he wouldn't seat Burris. Who made him the authority that could overrule both the IL and Fed Constitutions? My Democratic party has suffered serious damage by the behavior of these politicians acting in front of the news media. They have lost my respect.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.36.184.142 (talkcontribs)
