Victims may have remained quiet, afraid of either letting others know what happened or afraid of the accused. It might take just one of them to come forward, or some other catalyst, to help the others stand up too. Everyone has "friends," but few people actually have someone they would really trust, especially to help them after something like this. Every situation is different, of course, but from what I know, that's what I think. -- (talk) 06:09, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
