"its," not "it's"[edit]

Basically correct grammar in lead articles: pro or con? Sound off! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.170.29.128 (talk) 20:32, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It sickens me it took until 2008, its about time they get with the program called reality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.59.226.106 (talk) 00:00, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ugh...how could they execute children in the first place? But let's not forget guys. Even wonderful America executes children! It's far rarer but in many states it is legal to try minors as adults, including executing a minor for 'murder'. --Poisonous (talk) 02:32, 19 October 2008 (UTC) Source please Mr.Poisonous —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.229.17.181 (talk) 02:34, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Poisonous, I think executing a 16 year old for multiple counts of first degree murder is different than executing little kids for lesser crimes. I dont know if your american or not, but in the American system, children under the age of 12 cant be charged with a crime. Children over the age of 16 can be charged as adults in extreme cases, but comparing that to India isnt even close..--MasterRyu (talk) 02:42, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
lol why isn't it "even close" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.158.163.70 (talk) 15:48, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Can you not read 216? Or do you not think theres a difference between executing someone very near the age of adulthood for something like murder, and executing a little kid for a mucher lesser crime?--MasterRyu (talk) 16:42, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Is not the same, but I wouldn't say that it isn't even close. It is very close. And trying to compare people's lives quantitatively like that in the first place is a little disgusting actually. --85.82.179.226 21:23, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Who's comparing what to India, MasterRyu? Wait, brown people, I gotcha! --99.224.209.50 —Preceding comment was added at 17:23, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, the U.S. does not execute minors. --+Deprifry+ 17:27, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And Deprifry wins the internets! Thats what I get for not doing enough research. +1 to you good sir.--MasterRyu (talk) 17:04, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wow![edit]

Should this mean that the US should also follow in this or what? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.193.166.170 (talk) 20:22, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The United States does not execute children, although they only outlawed it in 2005. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.80.57.57 (talk) 00:42, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh... So, that means that the iranians are... what? Three years late?
Amazing... So, basically there's no difference between the US and Iran...
How... quaint...
They're shoulder to shoulder in the Global Peace Index, they both have religious fanatics running the country... I see a marriage with a HOT HOT HOT!! honeymoon...

death of children for minor crimes[edit]

I dont think that little kids should die because they stole some bread or something so minor. These kids are what 3-14 they are starving they need some food to. And no offense but If we elect mr Oboma he will take the troops out and all those little kids will die because the terorists are going to kill them. Siriously Oboma its like you having your kids die from starvation or terrorist attacks. They wake up every day not knowing if they will survive. And our people buying the bigest houses and the nicest cars when people in iraq are dieing from car side bombs and terrerosts busting into there house and killing them so thanks rich people for really suporting us. I hope some day I will be just like one of those brave troops helping the cause. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.166.152.227 (talk) 00:14, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Are you from Bizarro world or something? What the hell was that? I can't make a single cogent point out of that pile of half-thought out sentences, and blatant inaccuracies. There are no troops in Iran... 72.154.53.126 15:04, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He's five, and the keyboard is too big for him. He should have a Fisher Price computer that can't get on the Internets... Just like George W. Bush. --Brian McNeil / talk 15:19, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
