As long as Israel continues to flout international law there will be no progress towards peace. The only practical solution to the conflict is mutual recognition of rights and responsiblities; the power lies with Israel and it must start to behave responsibly - recognition of the 1967 border is a MINIMUM requirement for any just settlement. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.147.108.188 (talkcontribs) 12:00, 20 February 2009

The arrogance of Israeli settlers can only be matched by the hypocrisy of their government and the cruelty of its army. The next thing we'll hear is the same settlers asking for military intervention to protect their loot from "Palestinian terrorists". This latest act is the ultimate (if you needed one more) proof that Israel is not interested in peace. The West should stop supporting this rogue state - most importantly, stop selling them weapons and leave them to their own means. Probably they will be kinder to their neighbours once they lack the borrowed firepower. -Alemaco (talk) 12:34, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Israel would soon stop this crap if a few sanctions were imposed - like, as you say, an arms embargo. Add to that refusal to grant Israelis visas to travel to western countries. I don't give a shit if it causes them to scream that we're all anti-Semitic, American and European taxpayers have been propping them up for decades and paying to rebuild Palestinian infrastructure after their repeatedly bombing it to bits. Fuck 'em, they need to learn that more than just the Arab world is sick of their bullshit and they long, long ago lost any sympathy they might have inherited as a result of Nazi atrocities. --Brian McNeil / talk 13:52, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hey Brian your starting too sound like the arab nations that support groups that shoot up schools in Israel and suicide bomb civilians. The same Arab counties that exiled the jews and whipped Christians and hang homosexual. Glad you Failed too see why their doing this but it has noting to do with Hamas stopping to fire rockets or release hostages. But more then willing to bash the only True democracy in that crap stain part of the world. Plus I rather have my money to too Israel then Gaza city. Sorry but I am not a fan of Farfour.--KDP3 (talk) 23:27, 20 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
I do wish Israel would stop being complete assholes to everyone around them. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.139.170.143 (talkcontribs)

The UN is impotent

[edit]

While there continues to be denunciation by the UN of Israel's actions, but no consequences, the situation will continue.
