I grew up with Kung Fu on the TV in the 70s, every Saturday, the out-of-town-stranger with the wisdom of the East. It's a shame to see iconic actors go, goodness knows there's so much crap on TV these days compared to that. --Brian McNeil / talk 23:15, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'll never to be able to watch Kung Fu again without the images of that black wig and womens netting tied to Kwia Chang Caine's (David Carradine) body hanging inside a closet. Everytime I see David Carradine on Kung Fu from now on, I'll always remember him as a cross dressing pervert who killed himself with ropes tied around his genitals and a shoelace around his neck. So sad .... there goes another phony fake hollywood celluloid hero -- showing that Hollywood has to be the biggest cesspool on earth ...
:'(
[edit]Damn, that is sad. I normally don't care about celebrity deaths, but Kwai Chang Caine? Man that is sobbering.
Namesake
[edit]With great sadness I discovered that David Carradine had died. In 1980, my mother named me 'Caine David' after David Carradine and his character 'Kwai Chang Caine' in 'Kung-Fu'. I have always been covertly proud of this and was terribly shocked to hear of his passing. But we all must go eventually, noting that he was 72. Apart from the "Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique", I can't think of a more memorable (albeit kinky) way to go. Rest In Peace my GrassHopper. -Caine D McVean <email address redacted>
It was ninjas!!-andy
This wasn't suicide.
he died doing what he loved
- What? dressing up like a woman and choking himself to death while he mastrubated? I guess so ....
I will miss David.
[edit]I've always enjoyed David's work and will miss him.
how can you hang yourself with your hands tied around you back?
[edit]According to what the maid saw, i do not agree with the idea that he killed himself. if his hands were tied around his back, how would he hang himself? you couldn't put your head through a noose and then do it!! i believe that someone else killed him. someone else had to be there. and how could his colleague go and leave him? wouldn't you if you were to work together, wait for him to get ready? it is natural. something is very wrong. i did not know him, but he was a great actor, and i would like to see some justice for his family.
I do not agree with the comments that he was a crossdresser
[edit]I do not agree with the comments that he was a crossdresser, and all the other things that people describe of him. It is the matter of his death that matters. i know nothing about him except that he was dedicated to his work and it was his life. there are many ways to kill yourself if you was really that desperate, but i do not believe that he did this himself. one of his wives concluded that he was murdered. and i believe that he was. and i do not believe that whatever he did in his private life, should be slandered. and people should think of his family and not listen and
publish gossip.

His death ruled a suicide by authorities.
[edit]While his death was ruled a suicide by authorities, his family had an independent autopsy performed the conclusion being that he was murdered. Odd that so many popular actors have died by hanging.
