It's a real shame that we have to wait an additional two years, but on the other hand, losing MSL would be a disaster. It will be the most sophisticated probe ever sent to Mars and, if successful, will return far more knowledge about Mars' history and habitability than any of the two stalwart MER rovers, Spirit and Opportunity. So, sorry to see delay, but I wish NASA the best, and hope they will detect microbial Martians once they finally do get there :) --77.75.161.35 08:40, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

It is truly a dissappointment to see when extremely potential progressions in science seem to always boil down to the money. Im sure this is frustrating for everyone involved in this project but I can see the best coming out of it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.19.27.6 (talk) 17:47, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Absolutely disappointing to see this type of behavior. We are at a race against time for Human civilization and exploration, money and laziness push and set us back yet again. It is just inexcusable for our global civilization. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.56.249.224 (talk) 00:45, 7 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
