There appeared an article in USAToday by one of the reporters, and she claimed she was treated ironically well. She said she was permitted on several occasions to contact the outside world, even left alone in a hotel room for several hours with free WiFi. Brief article below cites such contact, although this is not the article I referenced earlier. http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2011-04-22-journalist-detained-libya-clare-gillis.htm
Thus, the article is wrong in saying they were not permitted outside contact.
More info please on the missing reporter or reporters. Thank You again.
