Every person in the coastal areas of Japan are taught how to heed tsunami warnings. Every Japanese knows how to act during earthquakes. In India that experiences heavy rainfall and lightning strikes, even educated citizenry are not educated on how to stay safe from lightnings. When the women's cricket team escaped from lightning, even English language newspapers describe the escape as a miracle rather than from the players taking the right action. The newspaper ought to write a line or two about how to remain safe from natural events on the same page as they print the news story.
