I don't see Nintendo wanting to prosecute. This was a "Greyhat" attack. Broke the law they did, but at the same time, but gave disclosure. What will Skidsrus do next?

They're causing lots of problems but at the same time Sony and Nintendo are beefing up their security to ensure better protection to the consumers.

If it were done by someone with truly malicious intent, it'd already be too late for all the subscribers.

Didn't some of the Sony info that was leaked get used for scams though? And even if they are doing this with good intention they are breaking the law and causing a major hassle to millions of people.

Yes, player information has been leaked. I cant remember if the @____.com bit was edited out that said, but passwords were released with the emails.

Towards Nintendo, they were being nice. Sony on the other hand has been under fire because they attempted to sue GeoHot (hacker) for modding their hardware to run Linux. Originally you were able to do this because it was a feature of the console, and people like the USAF built super-cluster servers. But later updates removed this functionality out of fear that the modders may do something to affect gameplay and the network, which kinda caused a major uproar in the OS world.

I hope these As@hol$% get placed in jail for life or placed on death row, either option would be beneficial to the world. They are all idiots
