All should understand and thus appreciate the work of fire/rescue personnel around the globe!!!!! This is what they trained for!! FIREFIGHTERS, POLICE OFFICERS, AND EMS PERSONNEL ARE THE REAL HEROES!!!!!!! NOT SPORTS FIGURES, SINGERS, ACTORS, TALK SHOW HOSTS, COLOR COMMENTATORS, COMEDIANS, ETC.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I agree. Idolise such people if you want - I know there's a small handfull I do - but the people who sing up their names to routinly risk their lives for total strangers are indeed the true heroes of this world.
