This guy was stubborn but the police should go and arrest drug dealers, illegal immigrants or corrupt politicians instead of dedicated although a bit excentric citizens. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 200.50.25.253 (talkcontribs)

why?[edit]

"The only thing I'm worried about is...how am I going to tell my wife."

Why? I don't understand about it.

This story brightened my day[edit]

wow epic fail

"I regret that I have but one mower to give for my city."

I think it was a justified arrest; police don't have time to argue with some guy who is being a nuisance and endangering other tax payers and their property. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.117.198.254 (talk) 23:23, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Being a nuisance? He's simply riding his mower cutting grass, if that's being a nuisance then you had better arrest pretty much everyone. I think the police should GFT in this case, drop all the charges, and the town should pay this guy to finish what he started.

Lawn[edit]

I think the cops should have invited him out for a beer to discuss the situation and see if they could reach a reasonable agreement —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.205.82.192 (talk) 19:06, 2 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

My Opinion[edit]

What is wrong with goverment's these days? This man was clearly trying to just help out and be a upstanding citizen, he saw that the city was cutting back and decided to help. You may say he should of adopted the park but all that would have done is wasted time with paperwork which face it no one care's for or has time for these days. This man should be thanked for helping out his city not arrested because the Police "Claim" that his mowing machine was tossing debrie onto the pavement, and even if this was true their should be evidence and they should of just said "please can you clean the lawn before you mow it, thankyou for helping".

I'm a English citizen sixteen year's of age and i can plainly see the course of action which should of been taken, so how about the rest of the world open's their eyes a little more? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.219.117.66 (talk) 13:01, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good for you!!! You are indeed a citizen!!_98.30.110.221 (talk) 16:13, 3 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I guess with a muder rate like sandusky has they had nothing better to do. Leave it to the cops. Find some one to pick on who needs it.

Problem easily avoided[edit]

Why is it sooooo hard for some people to obey the law? If the police give you a lawful order, then comply. The other comment about about the police should be arresting drug dealers, etc is so ignorant. Guess what? The police are obliged to respond to calls for service. They did. They instructed the man to stop. He refused. They arrested him. They did their job. That is a good thing. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 2600:387:0:80f::84 (talkcontribs) 11:57, 22 October 2016
