- To put this in perspective, 2500 tonnes is about the quantity that appears to be spilling from the Deepwater Horizon well every three days.
- The Exxon Valdez spilled about 80 000 tonnes, and the Gulf War spill of 1991 was probably much more than a million tonnes. InfantGorilla (talk) 09:59, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
