Polar bears did not deliver the petition.
I'd like my refund now, thanks. -99.224.209.50 03:56, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
Sensationalism
[edit]Perhaps fanciful of me, but I allowed myself a hopeful moment of amusement at the thought of actual polar bears (likely muzzled and under heavy escort) being used to deliver a petition.
But no. Human beings, dressed as polar bears. Fun bit of a headline. Also a false headline. And so Wikinews enters the realm of "fun" newspapers like the National fraggin' Enquirer.
Okay. So it's nowhere near that bad. Still, less "fun" sensationalism, more reality, please. I'm all for fun reading, as long as I can read it and say, "Ah, polar bears REALLY WERE INVOLVED in this delivery, how unusual and hilarious" not "Oh. It was typical fake-fun BS. Darn.".--66.183.175.208 (talk) 13:47, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
