There's a reason why you are there...

Look...buster...there is a plain reason why you are there and we are out here...plain and simple...you are a convict. It really pains me to hear that you think that you should have a vote since or even think that you have influence from your jail cell. Think about it...be glad that you have the freedom of expression and the right to bear arms and the other good stuff like that but by no means, do you have a say on how a country should be and will be run by responsible adults. I'm 40 years old and by the grace of God, I have been steered away from any lawlessness but instead I am trying to find my footing in a bottomless deep end of a pool. I'm getting there but I don't honestly think that with you, there, hindering progress, do I stand a chance to come up for air...If your sole purpose is to stop Barack Obama from getting reelected because you "hate him", you have just packed some flipflops, for a tropical storm warning. I love it when people are blaming him for the problems not getting fixed fast enough. My quetion to you is, "Who put you there, in the first place?"

As remarkable as it is that this guy got so many votes, I don't think I've ever seen someone who lost by 20 percantage points described as "nearly defeating" anyone.

Indeed. If this was a narrow victory, then the United Kingdom general election, 1983 in which the Labour Party suffered what is generally regarded as a crushing defeat ought to be reassessed by Wikinews as a virtual tie, since they were only 15 percentage points behind Thatcher's Conservatives!
