The way other arab countries have refused to accept refugees, just to make the humanitarian problem worse for Israel, is maybe the sadest part of the whole history of this conflict. Jordan is the only one that ever actually accepted refugees. :( Nyarlathotep 02:03, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Half of Jordan population is from Gaza and the west bank. Kuwait had a very large Palestinians population but dispel them after the gulf war. Nyarlathotep is wrong, of course. Most Palestinian refugees live in the Arab countries they were driven to by Israel in 1948. What Arab countries refuse to accept is that these refugees are not residents of Palestine, that they do not have a right to return there. But that's a long way from refusing to accept refugees.
It could be asked why Nyarlathotep's country hasn't accepted the 3 million or so Palestinian refugees. Is his country trying to "make the humanitarian problem worse for Israel" or is there, perhaps, some other reasons?
