When I first heard of rioting and Greeks, my first thought was, "I see the fraternities have had too many drunken parties again...!" Rickyrab (talk) 09:16, 10 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually, there are no fraternities in Greece, only political youth parties. The real problem is that a policeman shot in cold blood a 15-year old boy because of his political beliefs. Who could even think that his/her constitutional rights to be restricted or better overlooked by a social mechanism that is there to protect rather than to judge our political beliefs? And this is not the first time that this has happened, you could search for "Μιχάλης Καλτεζάς" (w:el:Μιχάλης Καλτεζάς) to see for yourselves. --Assassingr (talk) 18:30, 12 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Riots may end today. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.130.150.232 (talkcontribs) 11:57, 10 December 2008

Yeah, U.S citizens can make fun of these rioters, saying they are just out for fun, right they can do that while forgetting that our country funded a horrible military junta that ruled for thirty years over the Greek population. We may have forgotten, but I'm sure Greeks have not forgotten. The reason there was such an uproar about this is because it brought back memories of a time when the police simply shot any protestors in cold blood, just like they did this 15 year old boy who all witnesses say wasn't doing anything. Yeah sit there and crticize them but maybe take a look at yourself first.Soapy (talk) 20:17, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
