At 75 yrs old, age is a factor. Ron Paul is at high risk of having a medical disability . Look at the health statistics of 75 to 83 year olds
Certainly it is factor. People are living longer. As long as the Leader achieves (earns) the Position by Merit and earns People`s mandate, the Society will flouish and will take a very good care of the Leader. Positive factors are Political Wisdom, maturity and experience. Leaders in the Modern Society are getting YOUNGER by age. Some leaders are Born. Some seek leadership by setting an Example, working hard to improve the Humanity. Modern Politics is a very complex . The younger generation will rebel if their Basic Human Rights are violated.'
This country needs someone with that kind of wisdom and experience.
Every nation is hit by corruption scandal at all levels.Unless Politicians keep their nose clean and put Citizens' interest before their own, People will rebel.
Human beings are born imperfect. Nobody can say that no mistake had happened in thier lives. If the Leaders fail to set an example, who else can the individual turn to.
Absolute Power leads invariably to ultimate Corrupt mind and Delusion. Awakening inward Spiritual consciousness; belief in Faith (The Superior Force of Nature); living a simple Life (we are Blessed with of our existence) should be our motto.
