Anonymous is awesome. Now more people will pay attention to the internet and internet security. --Poisonous (talk) 09:47, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Goodnight, sweet princess. 13:56, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

This was the work of ebaums. We all know it. 13:54, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Rules 1 & 2 ebaums did it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 09:59, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

fuck this

Wow and i just seen the video of the 9000 penises--KDP3 (talk) 13:09, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Probably a move from the church of scientology[edit]

I think the church is trying to infiltrate the group and making those odd moves to lower the credibility of anonymous. Anonymous is only concerned with the church of Scientology , making it odd they spread useless rumors on other subjects. Yesterday again , "anonymous" hacked the email address of Sara Palin , it has nothing to do with the church , unless the church is behind the move.

Just my opinion... —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 14:23, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

"Anonymous is only concerned with the church of Scientology" You obviously don't know Anonymous. And yes, they were behind it. I have personally witnessed threads on their forums (won't say which ones) about these events. Almost immediately after Palin's email was hacked, there was a thread about it and the incident was dubbed... well... "THE INCIDENT". Before O'Reilly's site was hacked... there was a thread to plan it. Before Oprah's death was hoaxed... there was a thread to plan it. 19:09, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

I would hardly call what happens on 4chan "plans". —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 18:33, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

The Bill O'Reilly plans were not on 4chan. But yes, I suppose "plans" wasn't the right term for the thread about Oprah's death. 21:30, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

I need to visit ebaums moar...[edit]

I almost didn't believe this for a second. And holy crap... HOTEL BEL-AIR Anyways, I lol'd. --TUFKAAP (talk) 15:07, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Do you think members of these groups have gone too far with their jokes?[edit]

Comments below:

They need to get a life. It's not funny not because it's rude, but because it's unoriginal. It's like an eighth grader laughing at a fart. GROW UP. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 22:41, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

They have gone to far, there must be no jokin abouth people's faked death's , its a bridge to far and says a lot about the people who created this hoax —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 23:01, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

They are simply responding to the hilariousness of Oprah believing that 900 0 penisies are raping children. She is still alive and well, too many people in this world don't know how to take a joke.

Um why are you always blaming "anonymous" and 4chan?[edit]

What proof do you have? Further more, what proof do you have that Anonymous is a group. Anyone on the internet can be anonymous, hell look up the definition of Anonymous. So if you have proof that it is a group called Anonymous, and there are many, say that it "is a group calling themselves Anonymous". This could also just be one user using a bunch of proxies. Or a group of friends. This kind of reporting is what makes people get sensationalized. Your job here is to report news, not to make sensational stories that could possibly get you any kind of award. If you want to do that, get your own blog, untill then, find some real proof. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 13:24, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

*cough*Fox 11 News*cough* --Smackdat (talk) 16:39, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
Before you insult me or anyone else, maybe you should take the time to read the article. I talked to quite a few people, who wish to remain nameless, who are also very reliable sources. The evidence I have is their word. Not to mention the evidence in the sources, the video, oh and the quote from one of 'them'. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 19:06, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
NEVAR believe Faux News. 13:56, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

not to be preachy but[edit]

"Anonymous" as a group can never really be blamed for anything. The affiliation between different members is loose to not there at all, and at times they don't even use the same site. Obviously, a very small percentage of anonymous may have been involved in the hoax, perhaps it was only one person. It's basically like that episode of South Park where Cartman goes into a coma and dreams he's back in the 1700's, then discovers the founding fathers used democracy so the group (USA) could never be blamed as a whole for any given incident, as there will always be people who disagree with what decision is chosen. I think it would be more appropriate to say "The rumors are considered to be a hoax, connected with members of the online group known as Anonymous."

As for's comments about this being a terrible thing to do, you obviously haven't heard of anonymous before, they'll make you buy a dog.

P.S: The Over 9000 meme was popular WAY before chanology, at least 2 years before. --Smackdat (talk) 14:29, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

nope :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 05:58, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Maybe it'll get harmful once they get OVER 9000!!!!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 11:16, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Too bad Oprah won't admit her mistake.[edit]

Unfortunately Oprah's message boards are the epitome of censorship, so her followers still don't know they were deceived by anonymous. Any post explaining what happened never makes it to the message board. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 03:42, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

yes —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 01:42, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

BAD joke !! —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 00:39, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

She believed a troll[edit]

For God's sake Oprah, when you are talking about children falling prey to child molesters, isn't the most important thing to remember NOT TO BELIEVE EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET!?!?!?!?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 18:51, 5 November 2008 (UTC)

All stories and information posted here are works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posed here as fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 06:57, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

the reason i really feel bad about oprahs death is bec. she was one of the only talkshow lady that dressed in a very appropiate way —Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 23:26, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

somethingd is not true and some are just have to know and not go by what people say but by what god says

Such a shame...[edit]

I can't help but classify reporters that are focusing on "Anonymous" to be in the same class of intelligence as "Anonymous". The "We" in the popular Anon-phrase is a single person, the person who speaks it. However reporters decide to feed this docile creature granting it a bigger existence that it should be. Much like spilling water on a mogwai (Gizmo of Gremlins). A user does something immature, the media covers it, the user has a moment of self-gratifying fame, other fools join in, the media continues to encourage it... However due to non-internet-users and their limited understanding of the internet culture, the image of many of us is ruined by these limited individuals. If it goes far enough, it will probably attract attention of the government and lead to poorly informed and misunderstood actions ending in new laws that may hurt us. Now if the few fools were ignored properly, what reason is there to do it if there's no response to laugh at? We can laugh at Oprah's serious "9000 penises" response, but naturally if no such comment was made there'd be nothing we could laugh at. -- 12:46, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
