Latest is that video shows the gun was fired from outside the house; there was no confrontation.

Flash grenades. Invasion. When police show up at your house, you will be invaded. The pattern is OBVIOUS. Only bad things happen with police around.

Maybe a bit of spin, this was clearly an accident, but the grandmother was potentially harboring a fugitive.

I agree, it is sad but so far from what we know it is certainly not entirely their fault.

"o hai, i accidentaly your daughter. what do?"

This is clearly police incompetence. Allowing a civilian to reach for your gun is a sign of extreme incompetence.

And the part of not knowing who did it is complete bs. How the hell can they not know who fired. Clearly the police is defending one of their own from getting kicked out for being incompetent.

fully agree. the grandmother "came into contact" with the police officer. that could mean anything. "which inadvertently set off the gun that he was carrying." how does a gun inadvertently fire? this is a flimsy sugar coating.
