Sir Edmund Hillary was one of our finest people. My Mum knew him personally in her childhood and I think he deserves every morsel of honour he has ever recieved.
If he's famous enough for me to know what he did, he's pretty famous, which he is. All I can say about his passing is : dang it, are all the good people dying out?PurplePerson 01:16, 14 January 2008 (UTC)

Just thinking of him
[edit]I don't know what made him cross my mind, but I just thought of him last night. In think it was in relation to a car commercial I saw, reminded me of his car ad appearance a few years back. But so strange that I thought of him. -- Zanimum 17:23, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
