This information is partially wrong

I live in Costa Rica and I can give my word that in the last 21 years (I don't remember exact dates) I have felt -personally witnessed- around 2-3 earthquakes ranging 6-6.5 so it is quite obvious this title is inadequate...furthermore, it is proven wrong by the fact that in April 1991 we had a 7.5 earthquake in the province of Limon, Costa Rica which, although not as damaging or mortal was definitely stronger. please be sure to keep your information straight, many people depend on this information for homework or other chores.

i was in costa rica in 1991 when a 7.6 earthquake hit.

Change the title. I already found proof that theirs been stronger earthquakes on Wikipedias home page.

Did the US really send anything?

We were trapped at La Paz until Friday afternoon and didn't see a single US helicopter or official. Apparently the owner of the Peace Lodge was in contact with the US Embassy and they strung him along for a while before finally telling him they wouldn't be sending anything.
