[edit]Humans can only resist reality for so long by removing those among us who do not fit a particular narrative of the world not based in science. And homosexual people have always existed and deserve every dignity afforded to everyone else. I am proud that the Canadian legal profession has served as a model to the rest of the world in thinking on this issue and I can assure my Taiwanese friends that the sky will not fall, the sun will rise and all will be well if we approach this, and other matters, with reason, science and good will.
