Tamil Tigers are a terrorist paramilitary group which targets civilians and uses child soldiers actively. So these people are terrorist supporters. Why are they allowed to protest freely? What next, a protest in support of Al-Qaeda push in Afghanistan? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 131.107.0.102 (talkcontribs) 17:17, 15 April 2009

Tamil is an ethnicity. The LTTE is an organization that has been labelled as terrorist. The people protesting are Tamils, and want the death of Tamils to stop. Consider, by comparison, the distinction between "Chinese person" and "Member of the Chinese Communist Party". --RealGrouchy (talk) 21:36, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
