This is a typical eastern (Ontario and Quebec) bias. As usual, they try to run/bully the rest of Canada. Canada needs to move forward and the coalition is a step backwards. If there was an election called, the polls show that the Conservatives would win a majority due to the coallitions partnership with the Bloc. How the liberals and NDP aliance with the Boc can be seen as beneficial is astounding. The Bloc want to rip Canada apart. The Liberals didn't even want Dion as their own leader. To accept Dion as the PM would be delusional. The coallition is trying to force a budget when we need to wait for the US response to the auto industry. In a time where Western and Atlantic Canada is carrying the country, perhaps the east should think twice about it's importance to this country in terms of their political views. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 204.174.99.63 (talkcontribs)

I can't wait until we have proportional representation in federal politics. Then it will be completely impossible for the conservatives to get a majority, since at any given time an absolute maximum of 40% of the population supports them (normally 5 to 10% less). The stupid system we have right now is farcical. I don't even vote any more because with with way the current system is set up, my vote doesn't get counted. If only every one who thinks your way voted against parties which blocks proportional representation. And only then can you get your wish.
If you ignore the fact that the conservatives had paned to overthrow the government with the help of bloc two times since 2000. That as a supporter of the coalition, the Bloc can only volt, and the Conservatives have to volt with the Bloc for it to count. So the Bloc can do no damage without the help of Conservatives. Also how Harper's demonetization of Quebecers have contributed more than any separates have dreamed for. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.59.144.21 (talk) 06:20, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

TRAITORS!Crying losers!Betrayers of democracy! We are at war in Afghanistan, we are facing the worst financial crisis in history and these traitors side with those who would divide and destroy our great country! Traitors should be shot! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.141.64.229 (talk) 16:41, 7 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Nice bias... Maybe this should be called WikiPropaganda... Shame on the author. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.24.138.162 (talk) 03:18, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey, nice liberal bias Wikinews, did your comrade share it with you? I can't believe that you people would try to have the poor man thrown out of office after he won the election fair and square! I do believe I know how politics work, as I read the news every day, I think this is illegal! He was voted in, and that is final!

As for everyone else in Canada not in Quebec or Ontario, supporting the Conservatives, this is absolutely correct. Elections aren't decided in big provinces and busy streets; They're decided in the fisheries, farms, and seal-hunting outposts of all the other provinces and territories, because they're what REAL Canada is all about! --204.81.230.186 14:07, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
