FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELTS[edit]

It happens again..and again. Passengers do not heed the "Fasten your Seat belt" sign. Some people, do not do it out of ignorance. Some people do not fasten their seat belts because (I think) they do not care about the flight rules. Some people do not even listen to the safety announcements. I have seen and heard some passengers talk louder than the crew making the announcement. I notice this mostly with business people. I fly a lot, and I memorize the safety announcements by heart. But - I still listen.

I experienced severe turbulence a couple of times while waiting to land at Tokyo's Narita Airport. On one of things incidents, everything was smooth, then the plane dropped hundreds of feet. Luckily, no injuries. But in a lot of these descents, I have seen people walking, wondering around, after the crew made the "Fasten your Seat Belt" announcement and the sign is on. The cabin crew are very good in reminding the people but sometimes they could not keep up. Simple reminder: Heed the sign. Fasten your seat belts. 17:14, 21 February 2009 (UTC)75.72.189.7
