Isn't that entrapment? Bawolff 17:06, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

My knowledge of this area of US law is, eh, nonexistant. However, I'd say it looks that way. I suspect that if the police had courtworthy evidence he was offering to do these things, and then sent in the undercover cop, then that would be okay. People who know what they're talking about, feel free to shoot me down. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 17:26, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I know that this was how they arrested the Fort Dix 6, and they were arrested on much more flimsy charges than this. Soapy (talk) 20:20, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Life in prison as a sentence doesn't make all that much sense, since it was a US agent that contacted him. Testing him for the possibility of espionage and then giving him a full sentance of someone who actually did is irrational. I would think that the government might fine him, and then monitor his interactions from then on. Marx01 Tell me about it 19:38, 21 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

I didn't realise that spying for Israel is considered espionage in America at all. —74.14.13.63 (talk) 21:25, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
