Predictably, the investigation will no doubt result in the officers involved being cleared of any wrongdoing. While ostensibly granted "equal protection under the law", the reality is that poor black inner city residents are simply not endowed with the same level of rights or clout as members of the NYPD.

Just another punk in a concrete jungle.

I hope Richard Nixon is smiling somewhere knowing another innocent pot smoker becomes a casualty of the War on Drugs. I wonder what made that cop so upset that the first shot he fires is a lethal one. In the end it's just one less wrongly convicted person spending not only their time but taxpayers time and money.
