  • I remember reading in another news source that Chavez has accused the US government of interfering. On its own, a statement like that would sound rather pathetic, but looking back on the history of his government I'd say there's more than a grain of truth to it. More to the point, does socialism really require a lack of democracy? Perhaps Chavez should be looking more at the modern leaders of Norway and Sweden, rather than Stalin or Lenin. Voting results are incomplete[edit]
