I am of another party but right now I am ashamed of our government not worrying about the people of the U.S.A. We are the people and we need a person in the office that can help us. Our wallets are empty due to high grocery bills, utilities, gas prices-s-s-s, and other things we have to pay for to live and support or families. When gas prices go up, the prices at the stores, utilities, and other things go twice as high. How does the government expect for people to survive if they don't have money to live on. Oh, I know welfare. Oh, how could I forget. Maybe if all the people would get welfare then we will be able not to work but live off of welfare. I guess that is the answer unless we put someone in the office that can help improve the economy problems that the government put us in. If an independent candidate can fix the problems that the government has caused I will vote for independent. In fact, I have been talking alot about voting independent because the other parties don't really care about the citizens only theirselves or their wallets. My family and friends are scared where the next meal is going to come from. we work hard for our money but there is none left after buying gas to go to work. This is not right the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. The rich man or government persons should not be greedy but instead think of others who work hard and try to make a living for there families. These candidates whom are running for president or vice president need to not worry about the word change but worry about the people. we voted for these people in government whom said they would change things but I have not seen any change except for U.S.A. going broke or giving to other world countries. So, if an independent candidate is going to help the people he or she has my vote. d.johnson angeleve73571@yahoo.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.250.208.41 (talk) 19:11, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
