The dollar has only 'recovered' because of US government and IMF / World bank intervention. Soon all the banks will go bankrupt, and no one will have any money left. I withdrew my money long ago, and invested in gold. Even though gold lost some value, it lost less then the $100 000 i would have received back.

I told my friends to take their money out the bank, but they did not. They are all starving now, no money, no job, no house. Only a fool will leave their money in the bank.

At least gold is still valuable. All my friends have is their health, but with no job, food, house, etc, that wont last long.

I will keep buying gold, and remain rich, while the rest leave their money in the bank and hope the government bails them out. Like my friends, most will discover too late, that the US government wants you to be bankrupt. That way, they can control you, and make you slaves to the system.

all those with any foresight have already withdrawn their money and put it somewhere safe, like gold. The rest, well, they can enjoy being slaves. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.229.235.41 (talkcontribs)

Where the hell can you safely buy gold anyways? Fephisto (talk) 15:50, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
