Why does Australia own Papa New Guinea? I thought they were half independant/half Indonesian, but this map has the whole island as part of Australia.--208.19.12.147 (talk) 08:17, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Papua New Guinea is indeed a completely independent country, and the other half of the island belongs to Indonesia. The image's creator must have made an error when making it. I've replaced this image at {{Australia}} with Image:Australia (orthographic projection).svg. Thanks for pointing this out!
