Former film producer Harvey Weinstein was brought to the hospital for treatment after a blood test scare on Monday, his lawyer said. Weinstein is to stay at the hospital until his condition gets manageable.
Weinstein was taken to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan. Attorney, Imran Ansari defended Weinstein by telling the press he was not being treated fair enough at Rikers Island in New York.
Weinstein has a leukemia diagnosis. Weinstein is awaiting a retrial on sex crimes charges. Weinstein has said he has done nothing wrong.
