Bawolff, this is showing up in Category:Review. --SVTCobra 22:42, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I forgot that mediawiki tends to silently expand templates inside script pages, and add all the categories. Should be fixed now. Bawolff 22:46, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. --SVTCobra 22:53, 15 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Instructions

[edit]

First off, this has not really been tested/ is not totally finished, so use at your own risk. It might not even work at the moment.

If you really want to try it out (and you have editor privs):

  • Go to special:Preferences and select Easy Peer review under gadgets.
  • Do a hard refresh. Go to a page needing review, look for the review button. It should be with all the action tabs (history, delete, etc). In monobook its near the top of the page, on vector its in the drop down menu.
  • A form for reviewing the article should appear. Fill it out, hit submit.
  • The article should than be automatically {{published}}, a peer review template should be added to its talk page, and it should also be automatically sighted. (If it just refreshes the page with a really long url, that means there was an uncaught exception and it didn't work).

If you do try it, please let me know. I'd be anxious to hear if it worked, your thoughts, or really anything. Cheers. Bawolff 01:27, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Status of this script: It should work if the page is failed review. However if the article passes review there are still major issues and it needs more testing (A succesful review requires the script to do a lot more things than a failed review, and is also harder to test). Bug?

[edit]

I noticed, though I might have missed something, that the easy peer review does not flag the review it does. At the moment you have to manually flag the revision in the history, by clicking 'prev'. Aside from that, this is absolutely a great gadget. Thanks for making it. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 17:30, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
