Flood water should be treated as a pool - Chlorinate

I dunno. Wait until Bush says the environment is still not on the agenda... In any event, with the recent explosions allegedly taking place at a chemical plant : is this story affected?

I'm still trying to dig up details on the chemical plant (if that's what they were) explosions. I don't think they'll affect the core of the story unless they were something particularly nasty and toxic. --cmpalmer 18:39, 2 September 2005 (UTC)

Toxic stew

The article mentioned several things, such as gasoline and cleaners, but omitted that some of these (such as detergents and gasoline) will destroy each other. The local concentrations of various materials would make more of a "toxic stew", although wading in a bubble bath is somewhat less toxic than some other materials which may be dominant elsewhere.
