OR Etc.

[edit]

Ok...I have a lot of stuff to go through and a lot of e-mails coming to me. i have recordings which I will try and get uploaded. Most if not all this will be OP. I will hgave limited sources in the end I THINK...not sure :) Also, this is NOT the final title. I needed something to at least get me started. I would appreciate that no info is added until I reply on talk page. Please make all suggestions here.

I am also waiting on several pictures/sketches from Rocco Termini. He romised me a digital Image of his proposal so I am waiting for that too. Also Sam Savarino said he will send me every sketch and or plan of the proposed hotel. I am hoping to get all this tomorrow (today depending on timezone and when you went to bed lol). If not I will call and e-mail them. Jason Safoutin 11:30, 22 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok. I added quotes from some owners and residents. They are on a separate tape from the interviews (which I will add tomorrow [Thursday]) so it was easier to go from the begining of the meeting as opposed to the end, where I did the interviews. I am working on a way to upload all good audio from this, but I need to purchase a cable to do that, and that may be a problem :( Jason Safoutin 03:52, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ok. The source is a source only for Rocco Termini's other projects. Everything else is from tape. The anonymous source is reliable and is another freelance journalist. I have crosschecked him with another source I have and they have confirmed that they are reliable. I know the sources name but only for the moment does he/she remain to be anonymous. The info from the anon. source is breaking news. If it were not such a local of a story I would add breaking to it. Also as the sources says, its very possilbe that eminent domain MIGHT be an issue, assuming Rocco gets these peoperties. He allegedly wants a million dollars. The sources says Rocco will not pay that, but given his other projects, which were all financially susseccful, I think he will. I am about ready to publish. But I am just waiting on a reply from my source. When I get that, then to the press we go :) Jason Safoutin 17:35, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ok. I added the final major quote edit. I have gone through all the recordings and this is all the truely useful Info. I have. I am done here, unless there are typos and such. What do you think? Jason Safoutin 23:58, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Headline

[edit]

I think the headline needs work.

Also, I've noticed Wikinews works exceptionally well with a dial-up connection, probably due to its lack of advertisements. About your reference above to needing cable, if that refers to bandwidth issues to upload audio content related to this story, I would just want you to know that your reporting here is considered by me to be in "good faith". Meaning, that I would accept your account of the events. There are accredited users

And now that I write this, I see you have applied for Accreditation :) Edbrown05 05:32, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh no, I am not on dial-up. I just don't have the cable :) Jason Safoutin 12:18, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
I am open to title suggestions. I do like the first part And then there were two...I think that adds dramatic effect. I do think that something just isn't right about the second part... Jason Safoutin 12:20, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
You will want to link to the earlier 'related' story in this article of course. I find the "dramatic effect" for the headline confusing... Not one, now two new developments proposed for -- I dunno. -Edbrown05 13:47, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well whats wrong with the headline first...And Yes...the related article is on its way...have not forget about it just did not get that far yet :) Related Wikinews added. Jason Safoutin
What's wrong with the current headline is that it presupposes you read the earlier article. You need a headline that stands on its own, and I can't think of one at the moment - sorry. --Brian McNeil / talk 20:47, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
I agree...but I do not have any Idea at the moment either. So...I will leave it for now. Jason Safoutin 00:00, 24 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
