Talk:An interview with Jimbo Wales
Add topicFirst-hand journalism information
[edit]I wrote this article originally for the Wikipedia Signpost (article). The interview took place on IRC on February 15, 2006. The questions were submitted by Signpost readers, who agreed to have their questions dual-licensed under both GFDL and the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License. I have also done so for my input (i.e. compiling the questions), and Jimbo has as well. Ral315 00:00, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
Encouraging
[edit]A million thanks to Mr. Wales and the righteous Wikimedia contributors! This project, along with NASA/ESA recent success with Cassini and the Mars Rovers, are the greatest, most noble achievements so far this millenium! The internet, no - the world, maybe the universe, have been waiting for something like Wikipedia. So far it's looking pretty good in the direction you are taking it and how well you seem to be navigating around the pitfalls of engaging so many minds in this mad world of ours. Aside from telling everyone who'll listen how great I think this is, I look forward to contributing more directly to Wikimedia's long-term success.
Broken link to German wikinews
[edit]Could one of the admins please replace the interwiki link to the German wikinews? It should read "Interview mit Jimmy Wales: Wie geht es weiter mit Wikipedia?". Thanks! --Angela H. 21:07, 20 March 2006 (UTC)
