Are we sure that this is not a joke or audio/video compilation? This could be just another person being framed, like how they lied that O'rielly was racist and that that radio guy thought U.S. veterans who opposed the war where phony soldiers. There needs to be actual investigation of the recording of her saying it, for instance, O'rielly was describing how Africans aren't like you see on Rap videos, that they are normal people, he was talking about the prejudice of others, not his; and the radio guy was saying that soldiers that dropped out of army training and claimed that they were veterans (they never went to Iraq) were the phony soldiers, not protesters of the war.

Is this story just the latest smear? We need to look at un-edited accounts from first sources, not what other media shows. We need to listen to/watch/read the original source, because it may have been doctored or 'cherry picked'. And it has Media Matters as a source, that site is a smear factory and not reliable.

Should we be smearing people? Contralya 07:06, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

I do not know this woman as her books did not cross atlantic ocean. it seems she is publishing her new book very soon (go to her weblog). So all this buzz aroung her is just advertisment. Jacques Divol 08:49, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Oh heck, this is probably 100% true, and I'm a fan of hers. Ann Coulter says crazy stuff all the time; it's part of her humor style. She's a right wing shock-jock, and there's no way she meant it seriously. --Anoma lee 10:27, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Then it should be suggested in the article that it is a joke. Contralya 10:52, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
It was true, and unless we KNOW it's a joke - she meant it as a joke, etc, the only proper way to report it is to say that she said it, and that there are other people angry. Now, if she comes out and says "oh, this was a joke, the liberals are idiots for being angry" then that's another story. Lyellin 15:32, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
So we can't just say that it may of been a joke but we don't know? I doubt it was anything besides a joke. Contralya 19:37, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
I don't think we can say it might be a joke. Coulter seems to make statements that garner her public notice. How she really feels about anything she says is a mystery. --David Shankbone 19:49, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
