I am looking for sources. Today is Friday, the Muslim weekend. --Ómar Kjartan Yasin 10:17, 22 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
Is this heard on BBC Five Live?
I head this on the BBC World Service.

I also heard on BBC Five Live and on BBC News 24. Dan100 (Talk) 10:41, 22 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

This story has been out for a while and I can't find a website carrying this story, only the radio stations (Five Live); a website carrying it is unlikely Shen 10:43, 22 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

The BBC News website reports [1] it as "A mosque in east London : has been evacuated after a bomb scare - but a police cordon has now been lifted." : Bigpresh 11:16, 22 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

East London

[edit]

is a port in South Africa. I think when a compass direction is used as an adjective, as opposed to as part of a proper name, it is confusing if it is capitalised. The BBC on their website seem to agree: note their usage of "south London" in this link [2] . --Crockett 21:10, 22 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
