Why the phrase "hate crime"? In Canada (I'm not familiar with UK law), a "hate crime" is a specific term that relates to crimes that were committed with a motive of racial or ethnic hatred. --Quadrastreet 17:16, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
