A small part of the last paragraph is based on http://www.nmfs.noaa.gov/sharks/FS_faq.htm which is in the public domain as it is a US government work. I didn't have time to write a complete background paragraph and as the US government provided a public domain explanation I copied it direrctly, then made a few modifications.
