Talk:Celebrities contribute to Katrina relief
Add topicCelebrities
[edit]Celebrities-- Give me a break. If they spent half of their time researching the topic they might in fact realize the truth. But most are too self-absorb and just want their faces on the TV again.
My point is this. Lets back off George Bush, I also don't care for him, but thats besides the point right now. The person who should be under the microscope is the governor of Lousianna. Whenever there a diaster it's up to the governor of that state to ask for relief and aid. She has not and to this day still has not. Their were rumors that Lousianna being a highly Democratic state doesn't want help from George Bush, I think thats a great idea considering the death toll is now raised or projected to raise to 10,000. Thats ridiclous. She needs to ask for help in rebuilding and protecting whats left.
So for as much flack George W. Bush is recieving I dont think its just. There plenty of supplies and resource all she has to do is ask.. How stupid. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.7.172.38 (talk • contribs) 14:48, 7 September 2005 (UTC)

- We are giving you a break. You'll note the article is oriented toward only giving the names of celebrities whose major contribution is appearing in public. Those who only say something get no coverage; experts who say something tend to get articles of their own. Those who do something get more coverage. There used to be a sentence recognizing the majority who are quietly giving. (SEWilco 14:43, 8 September 2005 (UTC))
